Council Plan
The Council Plan
Haringey's Council Plan
In 2006/07 we produced a Corporate Plan that sets out our vision and priorities. We update this annually to reflect any changes in our priorities and identify what key activities we are undertaking to address changing local and national circumstances.
What is the Council Plan?
It is an essential part of community leadership that we define our ambitions, set priorities and communicate them to our residents, partners and staff. The Council Plan has been reviewed and updated to set out how we will work to achieve our vision in 2009 to 2010.
The Council Plan shows the council’s performance against the best value performance indicators, comprehensive performance assessment and other local indicators. It shows what we shall do to achieve our priorities in the coming year and informs the council’s business planning process, at all levels of the organisation, through to individual staff. The plan is for three years and is updated annually.
Please note that Haringey Council follows the Government’s Code of Guidance on Workforce Matters. In 2007/08 any contracts awarded, involving the transfer of staff, were in line with this guidance.
