Audit of Haringey Council Accounts
Public Inspection – Audit of Statement of Accounts 2009/10
Each year Haringey Council’s Accounts, together with all the books, deeds, contracts, accounts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them, are made available for inspection and for making copies.
The accounts for the year ending 31 March 2010 are available on application to the Chief Financial Officer, Haringey Council, Level 5, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR from 4 August to 2 September 2010 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Local Government electors and their representatives have the opportunity to question the auditor on 3 September 2010, from 9.30am at Level 5, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 7TR.
Electors and their representatives have the right to attend before the auditor to make objections to the accounts, provided that written notice of any proposed objection, and the grounds on which it is made, is given. A copy of any objection should be sent to the Council.
The audit is carried out by Grant Thornton UK LLP, of Grant Thornton House, Melton Street, Euston Square, London NW1 2EP and conducted under the provision of the Audit Commission Act 1998 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2003.
