Register of Councillors' Interests
The Local Government Act (2000) requires that the Council establishes and maintains a Register of Interests of councillors and independent members.
Haringey’s revised Code of Conduct for councillors, adopted on 22 May 2007 and overseen by the Standards Committee, requires councillors and independent members to register their financial and other interests in the maintained register.
Details of election expenses incurred will be available for inspection under the terms of the Representation of the People Act 1983.
You can access an edited online version of the Register of Interests by clicking on a person's name below. Before accessing individual Register of Interests, there are some essential notes that you need to read.
Please note that some of these are PDF documents, so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access them. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free in the external links section below.

Essential notes when reading online Register of Interests
1. Independent Members are non-councillors, with no party-political affiliations, who have been appointed by the Council to sit on some Council bodies as voting members.
2. The section on property owned within Haringey has been edited out of all entries in the online version of the Register and replaced with *. This has been done to protect the personal privacy of those listed, since that section would normally contain an individual’s home address.
3. Because of concerns that the deletion of the section on property owned might not be felt to give sufficient protection against invasion of privacy, all those listed were given the opportunity to opt-out of having their details included in the online Register. Those who did not positively give permission have not had their entries placed onto the website; their entries have been replaced by a standard notice.
4. Although entries in the Register could be expected to change only relatively rarely, they do nonetheless change. There will inevitably be an administrative delay between receiving notification of a change and placing it in the online version of the Register.
Due to points 2, 3 and 4, above, the online version of the Register should not be treated as if it were definitive.
The definitive version, which does contain details of property owned as notified by everyone and also includes the Register entries not shown on this site, is held at River Park House and may be inspected, by appointment, at all reasonable hours. Appointments may be made by contacting the Information and Civic Support team at River Park House, 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ, telephone 020 8489 2987.
