What is a webcast?
A webcast is a video you watch over the Internet. Webcasts can be viewed live, as they happen, or at a later date.
A new webcasting leaflet and poster has been added to the attached files section at the bottom of this page.
Which meetings are being webcast?
We webcast key meetings including the Cabinet, the full Council, and important Planning and Licensing meetings. Visit our webcasting website to view a full list of webcasts available (see videos on Haringey Council's webcasting website).
Why we webcast these meetings
Not everyone can get to a council meeting they are interested in. Webcasting allows you to watch the meeting over the Internet, live or after a meeting has taken place. Webcasting means that you can keep in touch with local democracy in Haringey even if you can't get to the Civic Centre.
What else is being webcast?
- We webcast edited films and videos. A full list of available films can be found here.
- We broadcast webcasts of the Leader of the Council, which is used to update residents on topical local issues.
- We are also piloting interview webcasts for several councillors including:
We are able to webcast video content for council services and partner organisations including corporate events, series of meetings and edited films. Please email your enquiries to edemocracy@haringey.gov.uk
