Get involved, be informed
Every week, Councillors elected by you attend meetings where decisions are made about local issues - issues affecting you, your neighbour and everyone in your area.
Now you can see these decisions being made and witness local democracy in action wherever and whenever you like thanks to Haringey's webcast service.
Keep in touch with local issues
Being unable to attend Council meetings is no longer an excuse for missing out on the issues being discussed in your area. Whether it's planning, licensing, Overview and Scrutiny or general topics affecting everyone, Haringey produces webcasts that help you stay well informed.
Our webcasts can be watched live or at any time you choose. By visiting our webcasts page, you can see which meetings are coming up and browse our webcast archive list of previous meetings, so you need never miss any of the important discussions taking place.

What is a webcast?
A webcast is a video you watch over the Internet. Webcasts can be viewed live, as they happen, or at a later date.
A webcasting leaflet and poster have been added to the attached files section at the bottom of this page with further information about this service.
|back to topWhich meetings are being webcast?
We webcast key meetings including the Cabinet, the full Council, and important Planning and Licensing meetings. Visit our webcasting website to view a full list of webcasts available (see videos on Haringey Council's webcasting website).
|back to topWhy do we webcast these meetings?
Not everyone can get to a council meeting they are interested in. Webcasting allows you to watch the meeting over the Internet, live or after a meeting has taken place. Webcasting means that you can keep in touch with local democracy in Haringey even if you can't get to the Civic Centre.
