Enterprise Partnership Board
Who are we?
The Enterprise Partnership Board’s aim is to develop and implement enterprise and employment and skills strategies and initiatives.
We are made up of key agencies and partners working in the Borough, including Haringey Council, Job Centre Plus, the Learning and Skills Council, Haringey NHS, North London Business, voluntary and community sector organisations and other stakeholders. The links to our partners' websites will take you to their web pages.
The Enterprise Board is one of six thematic boards that make up the "family" of partnerships within the Haringey Strategic Partnership (HSP). We are responsible for ensuring that Haringey has a successful and thriving economy.
Our Vision
Our vision is to ensure that economic vitality and prosperity is shared by all in Haringey.
How we will achieve our vision
Haringey’s Local Area Agreement sets out a number of targets that contribute to outcomes around tackling worklessness, improving skills, boosting income and promoting enterprise and economic development.
The Enterprise Board has set out how it wants to achieve these outcomes by publishing a commissioning prospectus. The prospectus highlights the key interventions the Board wants to see in place over the next two years to support Haringey’s residents, communities and businesses.
The Enterprise Board also works to deliver the borough's Regeneration Strategy, which puts People, Places and Prosperity at the heart of all regeneration activities in the borough.
The Strategy has three key priorities:
- To unlock the potential of Haringey residents through increasing skill levels and raising employment so that they can contribute to and benefit from being part of one of the most successful cities in the world.
- To transform Haringey into a place in which more people want to live and invest by using the opportunity of major sites and key locations to create positive change.
- To develop a 21st century business economy that offers opportunities for sustainable employment and enterprise, to help make Haringey a place people want to work, visit and invest in.
Enterprise Partnership Board: The structure
The Enterprise Board has two sub-groups:
- Haringey Employment Partnership
- City Growth Board
The sub-groups are responsible for ensuring that enterprise-related interventions across the borough are effective and co-ordinated.
|TopHow we will monitor the outcomes
The Enterprise Board is responsible for making sure that we achieve our enterprise related LAA targets over the next three years. An Enterprise Board scorecard is used to monitor our LAA targets on a quarterly basis.
