Out of Hours Emergencies

Haringey's Out of Hours services meet the Council's responsibilities when dealing with certain emergencies.

The service is available outside of normal business hours when council offices are closed.

Community Alarm Service

The service provides a 24-hour call monitoring and mobile warden response to older, disabled or vulnerable people living in the borough.

Emergency Duty Social Work Service

The Emergency Duty Social Work Service responds to social care situations that require an immediate or urgent response. This includes services to:

• children and families
• older people
• mental health service users
• vulnerable adults
• homeless people with priority status.
