A Customer Services Officer in the Call Centre

Our Call Centre and four Customer Service Centres provide easy access to a wide range of Council services, Haringey Customer Services puts you the customer first and is here and ready to help with all your Council needs.

Whether you are a resident, are running a business or simply a visitor to the Borough dealing with the Council couldn't be easier. Without the need to travel between Council offices you can now deal with several different issues at the same time.

  • Disabled users - our Customer Service Centres are all accessible and provide full facilities for disabled people.
  • Hearing impaired users - our new SignVideo service provides online access to qualified British Sign Language interpreters at our Wood Green and South Tottenham Customer Service Centres. All centres are fitted with induction loops.
  • People with communication difficulties - if you have communication difficulties you can contact the Call Centre using the Typetalk service. From your Textphone call 18001 followed by the phone number you require and you will be connected via a Typetalk operator to a Customer Service Officer. Customer Services is happy to contact customers using the Typetalk service if this is the preferred method of contact.
  • Users whose first language is not English - we are able to easily provide interpreters for most languages, please talk to Customer Services staff if assistance is required.
  • Turkish and Kurdish speakers - our South Tottenham Customer Service Centre and our North Tottenham Customer Service Centre hold regular sessions for Turkish and Kurdish speakers. Our Wood Green Customer Service Centre holds regular sessions for Turkish speakers.
