Customer Services - closer to you!
Phoning Customer Services - call 020 8489 1000 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Please note - the Call Centre is busy on Mondays and on the first day following bank holidays. If your call is not urgent please try and call later in the week.
Without the need to travel between Council offices you can now deal with several different issues at the same time.
- Disabled users - Customer Service Centres are all accessible and provide full facilities for disabled people.
- Hearing impaired users - British Sign Language interpreters can be provided at our centres. All centres are fitted with induction loops.
- People with communication difficulties - if you have communication difficulties you can contact the Call Centre using the Typetalk service. From your Textphone call 18001 followed by the phone number you require and you will be connected via a Typetalk operator to a Customer Service Officer. Customer Services is happy to contact customers using the Typetalk service if this is the preferred method of contact.
- Users whose first language is not English - we are able to easily provide interpreters for most languages,however interpreters may not be available immediately and an appointment may need to be arranged, please talk to a member of staff if assistance is required
- Turkish and Kurdish speakers - our South Tottenham Customer Service Centre holds regular sessions for Turkish and Kurdish speakers. Our Wood Green Customer Service Centre holds regular sessions for Turkish speakers.
