Spaced Out

The exhibition 'Space Dog', curated by The Other Side Gallery and Together, opened to a packed gallery in Old Street, London. The exhibition, over two floors, includes a diverse array of photographs, with works by Raul Peteiro and Joseph de-Haan being of particular merit, alongside a series of sculptures by Artscope's Floyd Chance.

Private View at Space Dog

This is the first mini retrospective of artwork by Floyd Chance and includes art completed over the last five years. The exhibition captures the diversity of his individual artmaking style and includes; a ceramic work, a suspended kinetic sculpture, an organic form, two floor constructions and an architectural model.

Floyd Chance's influences include the artists Alexander Calder and Joseph Beuys and it is important to realise that two of the works on show were produced whilst working alongside other practising artists. But his individual style remains and the intensity with which he works in the studio is certainly born out in the work.
