Noticing the Unnoticed

Using Cockpit Arts as a base, four artmakers from Artscope explored the local area of Bloomsbury and recorded their experiences through photography and phonography.

The installation consisted of over 200 digital photographs loosely arranged in 'themes' with the accompanying sound piece relayed through headphones.

Long term Artscope collaborator and photographer Jo Hill provided the photographic input, alongside Artscope's Keith Simmonds, who led on the phonographic element. Music producer Conrad McDonnell was credited with the final sound piece, a unique montage of the group's field recordings.
