Architectural photomontages by Shameer Patel and Keith Simmonds

Journeys through the backstreets of Clerkenwell produced a series of photomontages that captured the area’s contrasting architecture, two of which are displayed here. A Georgian street (Doughty St.), and a housing estate (Chadswell House), may form an uneasy alliance when viewed collectively, but hint at London’s unique capacity for architectural diversity. Artscope artist Shameer Patel worked collaboratively with Artscope’s Arts Co-ordinator Keith Simmonds on this project.
