Studio Group - Cockpit Arts

Artist Jo Hill working at Cockpit Arts

Led by invited practising artists

This is the first full-time studio for artists with learning disabilities in London and is used by artists from Artscope and Action Space.

This gives artists the opportunity to use professional resources, work with professional artists, access the cultural life of the city and make a valid contribution to its artistic scene.

Artscope began using the Studio at Cockpit Arts in Clerkenwell, London, in September 2002. Since then it has developed a diverse programme of visiting artists that continue to contribute towards Artscope's growth. The group exhibits through Cockpit's Open Studios each year.
