History
The Wood Green Neighbourhood comprises of the wards of Bounds Green, Woodside and Noel Park. It is a culturally diverse area with a very busy shopping area in Wood Green High Street.

The neighbourhood management strategy sets out to narrow the gap between the deprived neighbourhoods and the rest of the country.
Through extensive consultation/feedback from residents and the neighbourhood board the following key objectives have been identified:
- Reduce levels of anti-social behaviour
- Improve built environment
- Improve community safety and reduce crime
- To ensure waste management meets local needs and that standards of cleanliness throughout the neighbourhood remain high
- To further develop greater community involvement/consultation
- Improve facilities for children, youth and older people
- Development of successful learning neighbourhood
- Address environmental safety and planning issues.
