The Community Partnership Board (CPB)

The Hornsey Town Hall Community Partnership Board was formed in Spring 2005 to work with Haringey Council on ways to restore Hornsey Town Hall and to find a new and creative role for it in the 21st century.

Vision and objectives

The vision and objectives of the board are as follows:

To create a world-class model of civic renaissance, an arena for all, that harnesses a spirit of progress, community, creativity and enterprise for future generations in Haringey, London and beyond.

Our key objectives are to:

  • help unite east and west, north and south of the borough and beyond
  • open a place for young people, in particular, to use and own
  • deliver a welcoming public space, open to all in which we celebrate Haringey’s history and cultural diversity
  • evolve into a centre of creativity, diversity, learning and enterprise
  • become a flagship with a national and international reputation for excellence
  • create a sustainable future for Hornsey Town Hall.

The board has now established the Hornsey Town Hall Creative Trust to oversee the regeneration of the site.
