What's On in Muswell Hill Library

Public Consultation

A Public Consultation with the architects Sprunt, to discuss the proposed redevelopment of the Library took place on Wednesday 11 June 2008 from 7pm - 8.30pm. The consultation period ran from 14 May until 30 June 2008.

Local residents, local Councillors and members of the Muswell Hill and Fortis Green Residents Association were all invited to comment upon the proposed schemes. A printed form for comments and a comments box was placed in the library, for users to give their view of the proposals. Library users were also able to visit the architects' own website and register their comments online.

Any necessary adjustments have now been incorporated into the plans as a result of the consultation. The planning application for the site has now been submitted and the formal planning processes have begun.
