Consultation

Outcome of Focus Group Meeting Tuesday 1 April 2008

We wanted to know what services and facilities you would most like to see in the Library.
Local stakeholders were invited to share plans for the library re-development. The audience was presented with an overview of the Big Lottery Community Libraries Programme, together with the Coombes Croft Library project outline, which had already received approval from the Big Lottery Fund.
Although architectural plans for the layout of the building were not yet available, participants were informed of the progress of the project following the initial plans drawn up from earlier consultation in 2005-6. Attendees shared knowledge of how existing initiatives and projects could fit-in with plans for Coombes Croft Library
