Main pool
A 25m by 13m leisure pool with a giant slide, wave machine, water cannon and a beach area for toddlers with bubble bed and baby slide.
This pool facilitates our lane swimmers, toddler groups and general swimmers and also hosts a fun and waves session, which includes a flume.

We also have a 25m teaching pool. This pool facilitates waterobic classes, one 2 one swimming sessions and all our swimming courses.
We facilitate a range of adult and junior swimming courses; Junior floaties, Junior Ducklings, Junior Swimming, Adult Swimming Courses, Fast track adult swim lesions (twice weekly) also available are our adult and junior special needs swimming courses and one-2-one lessons, for further information please call 020 8489 5322.
Steam and Sauna
Our newly installed Steam and Sauna with drench shower is now available on poolside. Women only sessions are available - contact reception on 020 8489 5322 for further details.

A course for very young children with their parents to introduce them to the environment and pleasures of the water. Children should be five months old and had their "triple injections". All lessons are 25 minutes and are conducted by ASA qualified staff
Syllabus
- to make a supervised safe entry into the water with parent support
- to get the face wet without submersions of any kind
- to blow bubbles at the water surface
- to float on the front OR back in a relaxed manner
- to kick the legs on the front OR back
- to make a safe exist from the water with support

|back to topJunior ducklings (3 - 4 years) lessons
A course designed to introduce children to the safe environment and pleasures of the water. All lessons are conducted by ASA qualified and last for 25 minutes.
Syllabus
- child must be comfortable in the water without parent
- a supervised jump into the water
- to kick with legs on front and back
- to blow bubbles in and under the water
- to climb out the water safely
- to travel a distance of ten metres

All lessons are instructed by ASA qualified staff who will lead the children through a variety of ASA proficiency award schemes. 25 minute lessons for 5-16 year olds. Details of the ASA award scheme (national curriculum can be found on the Tottenham Green information board).

Syllabus: level 1 and 2 include
- to submerge at least the face
- to push/glide on front and back
- to float horizontally or vertically for 10 seconds
- to swim ten metres (front and back - level two)
- to jump into the water
Syllabus: level 3 and 4 include
- to float horizontally or vertically for 20 seconds
- to demonstrate front crawl, breast stroke and back stroke
- to swim two lengths
- inverted breaststroke legs and butterfly legs
Syllabus: level 5 and 6 include
- to tread water for 15 seconds
- to shallow dive, to surface dive
- to swim five metres underwater
- to turn correctly
- sculling for ten metres
- timed swims

All lessons are instructed by fully ASA qualified staff. The adult swimming programme is designed for adults from the complete beginner who wishes to improve water confidence to stroke technique, or, work towards the wide variety of ASA adult swimmer awards. Choice of courses are Level 1 and 2, Level 3 and 4, Level 5 and 6 and lessons are 25 minutes long.

Syllabus: level 1 and 2 include
- to submerge at least the face

This professional qualification is the minimum requirement needed to work as a pool lifeguard. Courses will run at various times throughout the year.

Lessons are instructed by teachers with special needs qualifications. Teachers will assess students ability in order to best determine the appropriate class group. Women only swimming
Lessons are instructed by all female ASA qualified staff where possible. The women only swimming lessons are run in a segregated swimming pool. See adult lessons for information regarding syllabus. A range of ASA adult awards can be obtained.
