Swimathon 2009

Swimathon Banner - Everyone in the Pool for the world's biggest swim

Park Road Leisure Centre once again hosted the world's biggest fundraising swim, Swimathon. Swimathon helps to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Swimmers set themselves challenges of swimming 1500 metres, 2500 metres or 5000 metres and complete them as individuals. Alternatively the 5000 metres can be completed as a team of two to five people at one of our dedicated sessions. The whole of the main pool was dedicated solely for Swimathon participants during the sessions.

There is less than one month to go until the closing date for Swimathon 2009 fundraising incentive gifts. Swimmers who pay before the deadline on 23 June 2009 will receive a Swimathon t-shirt (by raising £100+) and a Swimathon towel (by raising £300+).

How to Pay Your Sponsorship Money
