Park Road Swimming Pool adult to child ratios
Teaching Pool
The following applies as long as the children can swim or are non-swimmers wearing CE approved swimming aids.
One adult can accompany:
- Up to 3 children if all are aged between 4 - 7 years or
- Two children under the age of 8 years where one or more may be under the age of 4 years.
Main Pool
The following applies as long as the children can swim and do not require armbands.
One adult can accompany:
- Up to 3 children if all are aged between 4 - 7 years or
- Two children under the age of 8 years where one or more may be under the age of 4 years.
Please note that any adults accompanying children under 8 years must be done from within the water.
Note: Customers are advised that when the Teaching Pool is closed for swimming lessons, an area of the main pool will be roped off for non swimmers. Children will be able to use swimming aids during this time only.
