Concessions and eligibility

Advantage + is available for people who fit the following criteria:

• Under 16 (validation is automatic)
• Over 60 (validation every 12 months)
• In full time education (revalidation is required before 1 October every year)
• Receiving Contributory Jobseekers Allowance (revalidation is required every 6 months)
• Receiving incapacity benefits, invalid carer's allowance, Disability living allowance care component, severe disability allowance or attendance allowance (revalidation is required every 12 months)
• On the Entry 2 Employment scheme (revalidation is every 6 months)

• Birth Certificate or Passport (If required for verification)
• Birth Certificate, Drivers licence, Freedom pass or Passport.
• Letter from school, college or university stating that you are in full-time education
• Current notification letter from social security agency
• Current letter from Department of Work and Pensions
• Letter of notification from relevant organisation
• Current letter confirming carer status from Haringey Council

Advantage is available to people who receive any of the support listed below. You must bring proof of Haringey residence.

• Income support
• Housing benefit
• Council tax benefit
• Income based job seeker's allowance
• Working tax credit (Those who qualify for the NHS health exemption charges certificate only)
• Education maintenance allowance (EMA)

• Utility bill or council tax bill or bank statement (dated within the last 3 months)
• Letter from social security
• Agency current notification letter from Haringey Council
• Current notification letter from Haringey Council
• Current notification letter from job centre
• NHS health exemption charges certificate and current letter from the NHS
• Letter of notification
