Easter Holiday Activities

The Easter Holidays (Mon 5 April to Fri 16 April 2010) will have a range of activities to help make the week off from school that much more fun for everyone. There are lots of things to do to stay active at one of the many sport and leisure centres across the whole of the borough.
New activities include Underwater Sea Scooters on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1.30pm-2.30pm at Tottenham Green Leisure Centre. These will pull swimmers along at speeds of up to 2.5mph in the water and perform somersaults in the water and other acrobatic moves. There are Badminton taster sessions with an instructor for those wanting to learn this Olympic sport.
Other activities will include tennis lessons, trampolining, roller-skating, Street Dance, football coaching for boys and girls by Tottenham Hotspurs coaches; swimming and diving lessons to name some! Keep your eyes out in the attached files section, or visit our Active Fun page for more information or pick up an Easter booklet at one of the leisure centres soon, where all the activities and locations will be listed.

Have your say...
As part of Haringey's Sport and Leisure Service's commitment to communicate with its users more effectively, we are hosting a series of customer, partner and user forums throughout the year; where users will be able to attend an informal but open meeting with key managers and other centre users / stakeholders / community members. You will hear about improvement plans, scheduled works and proposed facility programme / activities outlined for the future.
If you would like to voice your opinion on any matter regarding any of the centres or to hear what we are planning for the future, then please come along to your local forum on one of the dates below:
Feedback from the last forum - October 2009
This Open User Forum was well advertised both internally and externally with key members of staff available to answer questions and queries on the operations at our leisure centres. Please take a moment to review the feedback from the forums held at the White Hart Lane Community Sport Centre and the Park Road Leisure Centre in the attached files section below.
On this occasion no one found it necessary to attend the forums held at the Tottenham Green Leisure Centre and the College Road Sport Centre. The next Open User Forums will be held in February on the following dates.
