Cricket c1960 Caribbean
Specially commissioned photographs of the Caribbean in the 1950s and 1960s, chosen and annotated by Haringey University of the Third Age.

All images were introduced to the group by the National Archives Outreach Officer Sara Griffiths who conducted this project in 2002/3: This exhibition was originally shown very successfully at Bruce Castle Museum 5 years ago

Carnival: Roots & Rhythm

From 1 October 2008 until end of February 2009
A display about the origins and spectacle of carnival, especially for schools.
The exhibition includes a new film by Angela Phillips showing members of Haringey's University of the Third Age sharing memories of their homelands; with Patsy Scott and her Quadrille dancers and local dance troupe Movement Angol. Ground Floor East-wing Gallery.

Young Cultural Creators

A stimulating display of samples of written work by schools pupils in Haringey, encouraged by best-selling local authors and inspired by Bruce Castle Museum's collections. (Supported by MLA London).
Old Kitchen - ground floor.

Haringey's Woods: Archives and Photographs

extended until summer 2008.
An informative and engaging display. Find out about archives across London and the Access to Archives (A2A) project.
