Manchester Gardens

Manchester Road, N15
Originally a walled garden of a large private house, Manchester Gardens located on Seven Sisters Road between Manchester and Heysham Roads was bequeathed to the local community for use as a public garden.
Until recently the Gardens had become run down and were being used for anti social behaviour activities. But following an improvment programme carried out by the Council in partnership with the New Deal for Communities (NDC) in the summer of 2008, the Gardens are once again an attractive and welcoming place for locals to enjoy.
Manchester Gardens now provides a pleasant open space for use by the community and a welcoming retreat in a part of the local area, which is heavily congested with traffic, noise and vehicle fumes.
