In Bloom

The Haringey in Bloom competition has been going for many years and is a regular on many residents and businesses annual horticultural calendar.

The competition recognises the efforts of individuals, businesses and community groups for brightening up their local community through gardening and horticultural efforts.

Haringey in Bloom is run in parallel with London in Bloom and finalists contribute towards the borough’s submission to the London in Bloom competition and play a significant part in the overall judging.

In 2003 Haringey was awarded first prize for the Most Improved Borough and a Silver Gilt award was given in 2006. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 a silver award was given at the London in Bloom awards. This is due to local residents, schools, businesses, community and voluntary groups taking pride in the borough where they live, study and work.
