Booking a Park

To hold an event in a Haringey Park you must first decide if it is a small or large event.

Small events

If your event is small please see the small events guide which can be downloaded from the attached files section at the bottom of this page. Typical examples of small events are:

non-commercial organised run or walk with less than 100 participants
picnic for less than 100 people
community sports competition including a school sports day
performing arts event with an audience of less than 100 at any one time

Please note that for a small event you will need to provide an Event Safety Management Plan - this may be brief but must demonstrate that you are planning a safe event.

Larger events

For any other event please telephone Parks Customer Care 020 8489 1000 or email parks@haringey.gov.uk, providing an outline of what you want to do. The following list can be used to help you:

brief description of the event - eg fun run etc
name of park
when - eg date and time
expected attendance numbers
ticketed entry or open to all?
who are you expecting and how you will attract them
equipment on site - eg marquee, toilets, PA, catering etc

Timescales

Please allow a minimum of:

six weeks for a small event
12 weeks from the time of your enquiry to the event date of a larger event

Events will be considered and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
