Haringey Safer Communities Awards 2010
Nominations have opened for our Safer Communities Awards
Local people and organisations play an important part in keeping our streets safe. With our partners we are organising an awards ceremony to recognise their work, which will be held at Alexandra Palace on Thursday 11 February.
Categories
The awards include 10 categories including a special award for the Haringey Community Safety Citizen of the Year. The other awards are:
- most outstanding contribution by an individual over 60
- most outstanding community safety contribution by a young person or group of young people
- best community safety project developed by an individual resident, group of residents or residents' association
- best community safety partnership project or initiative
- most outstanding community crime fighter or special constable
- best environmental solution to designing out crime by a resident
- most outstanding volunteer with the criminal justice system
- best community safety initiative by a local business, and
- most outstanding contribution from a member of front-line staff across the safer communities partnership.
Make a nomination
Please make your make nominations for the Haringey Safer Communities Awards 2010 before Friday 8 January 2010. You can do this by:
- Completing an online nomination form or by
- Printing and filling in the nomination form in the attached files section below, or by
- Requesting a nomination pack from louraine.palmer@haringey.gov.uk or 020 8489 6957.
