About the Tottenham Community Panel

The Tottenham Community Panel is an independent group of local community leaders that formed after the August 2011 riots to look at how to rebuild and improve Tottenham. You can see information about the individual Panel members on the Panel Members page.

The Panel launched its report After the riots: Taking Tottenham Forward in February 2012. The recommendations this set out were informed by a period of engagement and evidence gathering - there is more information about the Panel’s approach and the data and feedback that it considered on The Panel’s evidence base page. The Panel met frequently between August and February and you can view minutes of these meetings at the bottom of this page.

Next Steps

Realising the Panel’s recommendations will require the efforts of a wide range of individuals and organisations from across public, private, voluntary and community sectors.  The panel has invited people, groups and organisations to respond to their recommendations, and set out what action they will take to improve Tottenham for the future. Responses are expected by the end of March and will be available online.

The panel will meet in July for an informal review of how recommendations have progressed. A formal review of progress following the recommendations will be held by the panel in one year’s time.
