Booking a Ceremony
Please take a few moments to read and understand the information below. It contains important information about terms and conditions when booking ceremonies with the Haringey Registration and Citizenship Service.
Changing your ceremony date
We are happy to change the date or time of your ceremony free of charge, subject to availability, up to 17 days before your ceremony date. No changes can be made within the last 16 days prior to your ceremony.
|back to topPaying for your ceremony
We strongly advise you to pay for your ceremony at the time of booking. If you are booking a ceremony less than three months away you need to pay in full at the time of booking. Otherwise full payment is required no later than one month before for weekday ceremonies, and three months before for outside and Saturday ceremonies.
Your ceremony fee is subject to change until paid in full.
Allow enough time - arrive at the least 10 minutes before the start of your ceremony
Please allow enough time to reach us and park your car. You must report to the Register Office Reception or your venue interview room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony. If driving use postcode N22 9SB in your satellite navigation system (for Wood Green Civic Centre).
If you are late we may not be able to conduct your ceremony and you may have to pay again for a new ceremony and/or lose the money you paid for your ceremony. Late attendance will be considered a cancellation.

If English is not your first language and your English is not fluent, please bring somebody with you that can act as your interpreter.
|back to topCertificates for Marriage if Notice given elsewhere
If you gave Notice of Marriage elsewhere we will need to have your Certificates for Marriage before we can marry you. Notice must be given at least 16 days before a wedding day. Certificates should be handed to the Register Office at least 7 days prior to your ceremony date.

Cancellation must be made by the Bride, Groom, Civil Partners or couple having a ceremony. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 17 days before the ceremony date. No refund will be due if you cancel your wedding 16 days or less before the ceremony date. Late attendance will be treated as a cancellation.
