Help in an emergency

If you need urgent help outside opening hours (eg: if a burial has to be within 24 hours because of religious beliefs), you should telephone the Council's emergency number: 020 8489 0000. You will then be given the mobile number of the Registrar on duty who will liaise with you to issue the necessary certificate.
