Parenting and Family Support
Family support service
Bringing up children is exciting and enjoyable but can, from time to time, also be demanding. We work alongside children, parents and carers to offer advice and support.
Supporting education
Advice on matters relating to child protection and bullying. We also work with pupils who are finding it difficult to attend school and help them to build up regular attendance.
Looked after children
0ur looked after children’s service manages the council’s two residential homes and the fostering and adoption services.
Teenage intervention service (TIS)
The primary focus of the work of the TIS team is to work with young people aged 10-16 and their families to promote family welfare and to prevent family breakdown.
HIV/AIDS support
Providing good quality care for young children has always been a high priority in Camden, Haringey and Islington.
