Childcare Affordability Programme (CAP)
The CAP programme will run until 31 March 2009.
The London Development Agency (LDA) launched the London Childcare Affordability Programme (CAP) as part of the London Childcare Strategy. The objective of CAP is to enable parents on low incomes in London to remain in, or return to full or part time work and flexible work.
The aim is to provide parents with greater access, choice, flexibility and quality childcare provision. As well as provide sustainability for childcare providers which will enable them to offer quality provision at affordable fee rates. Currently we have six childcare settings offering affordable and flexible childcare places under this scheme, from which parents can access CAP.
