Childcare and Early Years
The Family Information Service can provide you with up to date, free, impartial and detailed information on choosing quality childcare, activities for young people aged 0-20 and other associated information.
New our booklet 'Family Information - A local guide to childcare options, costs and services for parents/carers' can be found in the attached files section below as well as our Service Statement which explains what we do (Note: the booklet is a large file, and might take more time than usual to download.)
- You can find details of local childcare by visiting the Family Information Services Directory (FISD).
We also offer information on

- nursery schools (day nurseries)
