SEN Appeals
If you disagree with the local authority's decision, you have the right to appeal to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST) within two months of the date you receive a letter.

There is also a local Disagreement Resolution Service which aims to resolve disputes locally. You can get further details from the Parent Partnership Service (Tel 020 8800 4134).
Your right of appeal to the Tribunal is not affected by any involvement in local resolution arrangements and can run at the same time as an appeal.
