Saturday Morning Music Centre

We offer a place for our children that are into contemporary/popular music.

  • When: 9am -12.30pm on Saturday mornings.
  • Where: Gladesmore Community School, Crowland Road, N15 6EB (map link can be found in the external links section below)

There is a great spirit of tutors and children working together in an atmosphere of discovery and excitement.

You can learn to sing and to play an instrument with regular public performances to put all your hard work into practice.

Small group lessons take place from 9.00am –11.30am

From 11.30am-12.30pm there are opportunities to sing in our choir, and play in rock and pop bands. Younger children can join ‘Melody Makers’, a fun-packed introduction to music class

The Saturday Morning Music Centre is run by our Music and Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) and all tutors are experienced teachers already working in primary and secondary schools throughout the borough.

They have a unique insight into assessing the needs of local children as well as providing a creative and inclusive environment.

Our commitment is to provide an exciting and varied programme of music tuition, developing individual talent, self respect and  positive attitudes to learning and to each other.
