Starting Primary School 2010 - Apply Now

You must apply for Reception class (the first year of primary school) if your child was born on or between 01 September 2005 and 31 August 2006 – even if they are currently attending Nursery class.

To apply for a reception class in a Haringey primary school for 2010 you must complete the Haringey reception application form regardless of which borough you live in.

Nursery Class

If your child is also at an age where they can attend a nursery class.
Please note: Your child will not automatically continue into reception at the school where they attend nursery class.

Changing your application

Changing your preferences: you can make changes to your application until the closing date of 29 January 2010. After this date, changes will only be allowed where you have exceptional circumstances (this does not include where you have made an error or changed your mind). You must contact the Admissions Service in writing or via email and you may be asked to provide evidence of your circumstances. We cannot accept changes of preference by telephone.

Changing your address: once you are resident at your new address you must contact us immediately in writing or by email and provide two proofs of your new address. Your child’s records will then be updated.
