Outturn Statement

Section 52 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 requires Local Education authorities to prepare an outturn statement at the end of each financial year. Regulations prescribe the form of the statement and currently require two tables and an Annex. The tables can be found in the Attached Files section below.

Table A Part 1 and 2 Local Authority Summary

Income and expenditure on education by the local authority. It also summarises the school level information shown in Table B.

Annexe Youth Service

This shows the net expenditure for the Youth Service.

Table B School Level Information

This summarises the income, expenditure and balances for each school.

The financial information and other data shown in these tables represent the revenue position only. Capital income and expenditure fall outside the scope of this statement.
