Meet the Contractors

Find out about the four different contractors who are building our schools in the BSF programme.
They are:
Apollo Group
Established in 1976, the Apollo Property Services Group has over 30 years experience of working successfully within the Public Sector.
The group originally established its credentials in London and South East regions. In recent years Apollo has implemented a programme of planned and steady growth which has allowed it to open new offices in Scotland, the East of England and the South West.
Apollo offers a range of services from responsive maintenance at the individual property level to the delivery of award winning schools.
Apollo has completed projects at: Hornsey School for Girls, John Loughborough School and Northumberland Park Community School. Apollo is working on the project at ILC at Woodside High School.

Balfour Beatty entered the UK building market during the 1970s as a natural development from its traditional worldwide civil engineering skills. Balfour Beatty Construction delivers national building and refurbishment skills from a number of offices spread throughout the UK.
From this network of offices, they are able to build from traditional, design and build and partnering contracting to more recent government inspired procurement routes such as Building Schools for the Future.
Balfour Beatty has completed projects at: Alexandra Park school, Fortismere school, Gladesmore Community school and Park View.

Breyer Group was founded in 1956 with experience within the construction industry which includes New Build development and Refurbishment schemes. They are an equal opportunities employer and try to minimise the impact on the environment from its construction work.
The business has clients through major collaborative regeneration and newbuild arrangements. They are one of the main Contractors appointed to deliver improvements to local schools (on behalf of Haringey Council), to ensure that secondary pupils learn in 21st-century facilities.
Breyer Group has completed projects at: Highgate Wood school, St Thomas More school and Young People's centre.

Willmott Dixon was founded in 1852 and is based in Hertfordshire. The company operates local construction teams who live in the region in which they work.
All its sites adhere to Constructing Excellence’s environmental KPIs, which set strict targets for dealing with key areas like waste, recycling, transport, water and energy usage. It is a founding member of the UK Green Building Council to drive better sustainable standards in the built environment.
Willmott Dixon has completed the project at: Heartlands High school. (Willmott Dixon also constructed the Haringey Sixth Form Centre).
