Heartlands Playing Fields

Improvements to the playing fields
Alexandra Park Club, Heartlands High School and Haringey Council are working together to improve the clubs pitches and clubhouse. As part of an agreement the club would then make these enhanced facilities available to the school.
The pitches are located a short walk from the school, and one of the main improvements will be to enhance the quality of drainage in and around the pitches.

The Club along with its partners are also working on a possible second phase of work – this is to provide a new, floodlit all weather training facility. This would give the Club an alternative training space, particularly in the event of poor weather.
It would also complement outstanding sports facilities already available to young people at Heartlands High, including three multi-use games areas, and a sports hall.

Before a planning application is submitted the Club and its partners are seeking support from the Alexandra Palace and Park Charitable Trust and local members of the community. In order for these ideas to progress we will need to carry out detailed consultation. If you have any views on these initial ideas please email bsf@haringey.gov.uk
There will be further opportunities to find out more about these plans in the months ahead as we look to develop these ideas with the support of the local community.

Funding
Funding for the project will be combined from the council, the school, the Club, and The Football Foundation - the UK’s largest sports charity.
