Schools for the Future - today

In Haringey, the Council has secured over £200m to improve local secondary schools and support new ways of teaching and learning. The transformation of our schools is already underway.

As well as providing modern classrooms, computers and other facilities at our existing schools, the programme will also create a brand new school, Heartlands High School.

These changes are all aimed at improving the life chances of local children and young people and continuing to raise educational standards in the borough.

In this way the BSF programme is about more than buildings - it is about changing and transforming the way we educate young people, encouraging change and regeneration throughout our schools and into the wider community.
