Building Schools for the Future (BSF) at St Thomas More school
The school has a clear vision for the future to become a centre for sporting excellence, focus more on individual student’s needs and wants and expand the school’s role as a resource for the community.

- New two-storey accommodation for drama, media, music and ICT / business.
- a new public entrance,
- an extension to the library
- there will be new ICT (computers and interactive whiteboards)
- new cabling and servers to support the ICT
The Architects for the school is ABK Architects. The Contractors are Breyer Group. Find out more in Meet the Contractors.

The scheme at St Thomas More school aims to achieve an independent environmental rating (BREEAM) of ‘Very Good’.
The heating and hot water will be provided by Biomass boilers. These use waste product as the fuel, reducing the dependence on fossil fuels and minimising waste that goes to landfill.
