Building Schools for the Future (BSF) at Highgate Wood School
This £4.9m project was completed in Spring 2010. Today students and staff are now enjoying the new facilities created as part of Building Schools for the Future. You can read about our BSF story in the attached files section.

The new facilities at Highgate Wood School are enabling new ways of teaching and learning, and feature:
- a new library creating a larger learning resource centre
- an outdoor stage to support performing arts at the school
- improved maths and english spaces
- a mezzanine to provide more space for media studies
- new computers and technology.

Key project dates:
- this scheme was granted planning permission in June 2008
- construction work began on the project in March 2009
- the new facilities were first open to the school in March 2010
- this was the first Haringey BSF project to be completed
- the architects for this project were Watkins Gray International.
