Building Schools for the Future (BSF) at Fortismere
The school has a clear vision for the future to strengthen professional development and leadership of learning, enhance student facilities and learning environment and enable students to be active and responsible citizens in the community.
|back to topThe main features of this exciting project include:
- A new build music block attached to the Performing Arts hall in the North Wing
- The demolition of the existing music huts at the entrance to the South Wing
- The landscaping of the South Wing entrance
- New cabling, server rooms and floor distributors throughout the entire school, allowing improved ICT
The Architect for the school is TP Bennett. The Contractor for the project is Balfour Beatty. Find out more in Meet the Contractors.

The project went on site in September 2009.

The programme at Fortismere and Blanche Neville Schools aim to achieve an independent environmental rating (BREEAM) of ‘Very Good’.
