Lancasterian Primary School Electrical Improvements
The council is working with the school to significantly improve the standard of its electrical systems. This will mean that the school’s electrical wiring meets the highest standards for health and safety, and the environment. At Lancasterian Primary contractors have already begun work (Phase 1) to supply and install new incoming electrical supply, switchgear (such as fuses) sub mains distribution and distribution boards. New lighting, plug points and switches (phase 2 works) will be installed from late September.
We aim to minimise disruption by carrying out the work at different times or phases. Our contractors have been carrying out most of the noisy and disruptive work during the summer holidays. Any potentially disruptive work will now take place outside of teaching time and or over the weekends.
Phase 1 – to be completed by early October Phase 2 – to be completed by January 2012.
