Downhills Primary School
A project to improve the security, catering and reception facilities at Downhills Primary School has recently been completed. The work has included relocating the entrance to increase the sense of security and safety for pupils, parents and staff. A new general teaching space and a new kitchen have also been created. The addition of new appliances also enables staff to experience an improved working environment.
The work took place in three phases:
- Phase 1 - The development of the main kitchen and corridor to resources room, including opening and step access to playground
- Phase 2 - The creation of new reception, entrance and office accommodation from the existing kitchen
- Phase 3 - Remodelling of existing reception into a general teaching space
The contractors for the project were Diamond Build.
