Jehovah’s Witness food laws

Plate and cutlery

Jehovah’s Witnesses, in harmony with their scriptural beliefs  (Acts 15:28,29), are required to abstain from eating blood, i.e. blood sausage, and from animal meat if the blood has not been properly drained.

Apart from this there is no restriction on what is to be eaten, and fasting is not carried out.
