Unsung Women Awards 2012

Do you know a woman involved in the local community who deserves recognition?

If you do it’s time for you to nominate them for the Haringey Unsung Women's Awards 2012.

Nominations for the annual awards close on Friday 10 February with a presentation during Haringey’s International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday 10 March.

These popular annual awards are a great way to give public recognition and thanks for the dedicated, selfless work of the many local women playing a vital role in our communities," said Cllr Lorna Reith, Deputy Leader "If you know of any 'unsung' women who deserve recognition, please contact us with your nomination.

As part of International Women's Day 2012, Haringey Council wants to recognise the achievements of women in the borough and the vital role they play in the community. If you would like to nominate someone for this award who has not received one before, please complete the form below. A maximum of two nominations each.

All women nominated will be informed by the post and invited to a special awards ceremony as part of 'We're Every Woman! A Day Out For Women' on Saturday 10 March 2012 at the College of Haringey Enfield and NE London (CHENEL).
