This is our story - visit to Auschwitz - February 2010
After the success of filming some of Haringey’s Holocaust survivors during August 2009, Funmi Abari and VyVy Nguyen went on to film their visit to Auschwitz in February 2010 for TrueTube. The film entitled "This is Our Story" was entered by TrueTube into the Jerusalem Awards.
The Jerusalem Awards are now in their 16th year and promote Christian involvement in broadcasting, mainly in radio. Some of their winners are well known to listeners in the United Kingdom whilst others are just starting out and speak to a small niche audience.
Funmi and VyVy’s film has been shortlisted in two categories and the winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 21 October 2010 at Royal Society of Arts in London.
