Children's Network

What are Children’s Networks?

Children’s Networks are geographical areas that form the basis for the planning and delivery of services to children, young people and their families in Haringey. There are three Children’s Networks covering the west, north and south of the borough as shown in the map below. The Children’s Networks cover the same area as defined by the ward boundaries (see 'Network Areas' below).

Establishing the Children’s Networks has enabled the Council and its partners to take a high level, strategic approach to assessing and understanding the needs of the community around the borough, and to planning services accordingly. Services that work with children and young people are increasingly configured on a network basis. A number of staff are now co-located in multi-disciplinary teams as a result.
