In-year admissions to secondary school

If your child is born on or between 31 August 1997 and 1 September 2000, they are at the age where they must be in secondary education.

If your child lives in Haringey and does not currently have a school place, or if you wish to transfer them to a different school, please apply for a school place using our In-Year Application form. You can download the form from the attached files section below, or you can call 020 8489 1000 to have a copy posted to you.

If you do not live in Haringey, please contact your own local authority.

How to apply for an in-year secondary school place

If your child was born on or between 31 August 1997 and 1 September 2000

Read the information in the Secondary Admissions Booklet

Find your nearest secondary school using the school finder on the Direct Gov website (external link)

Decide which 6 schools you would like to list on your application and the order you prefer them. They can be located in Haringey or in another local authority

Download, print and complete the In-Year admissions application form (see attached files section below)
