Lancasterian Expansion

Proposed Lancasterian Expansion

Statutory Notice and accompanying Proposal for Lancasterian Primary

On 20 December the Council’s Cabinet decided to publish statutory notices on the proposed expansion of Lancasterian Primary School from its current two forms of entry to three forms of entry.

The complete notices are available to download from the attached files section below.

Following confirmation that a new free school, Hartsbrook E-Act Free School, will open in this part of the borough in September 2012 and provide 60 reception places every September, it was decided to delay any possible expansion of Lancasterian Primary school from a proposed date of September 2013 to September 2014. By delaying any possible expansion it will give us the necessary time to assess the impact of these additional 60 reception places on the overall demand for school places in Northumberland Park and the surrounding wards. Further public consultation on a proposed expansion at Lancasterian Primary school will take place in late 2012 or early 2013.
