Health and Safety Consultation

Health and Safety service plan

Each year every local authority is required by the Health and Safety Executive to publish a service plan for Health and Safety Enforcement.

The purpose of the service plan is to ensure national priorities and standards are addressed and delivered locally but also to:

  • focus debate on key delivery issues
  • provide an essential link with financial planning
  • set objectives for the future and identify major issues that cross service boundaries
  • provide a means of managing performance and making performance comparisons.

The service plan must be approved the Executive Members for approval to ensure local transparency and accountability and is then made available to Haringey’s traders and the local community.

We welcome comments from you about the current plan and suggestions for inclusion in next year's service plan. You can send your comments to enforcement@haringey.gov.uk
